Often, the term rizq is understood as material provisions in the form of money, food, and our jobs and so on. However, rizq can be defined as anything that brings benefits or goodness to us.
1) Increase in rizq & overall happiness This is what Allah promises in the Quran that when we start accepting our mistakes, review ourselves and trust His mercy, kindness and love, we begin to see a positive change in our material and emotional/mental life. Quran: "O My people, ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him.
Rizq is a term familiar to Muslims. It has a wide and deep theological basis in Islam. It means provision of all the resources necessary for human sustenance. Rizq plays a central role in the creation of jobs, making of economic policy, collection of taxes and fulfilment of socio economic rights of citizens.
Allah says in the holy Quran: "And, ask forgiveness of your Lord, indeed he is a perpetual forgiver. He will rain down from the skies in abundance, and increase you in wealth and children, and make for you gardens and rivers." [Surah Nuh, 10] Allah mentioned Rizq and wealth in the Quran many times.
