Often, the term rizq is understood as material provisions in the form of money, food, and our jobs and so on. However, rizq can be defined as anything that brings benefits or goodness to us. 1) Increase in rizq & overall happiness This is what Allah promises in the Quran that when we start accepting our mistakes, review ourselves and trust His mercy, kindness and love, we begin to see a positive change in our material and emotional/mental life. Quran: "O My people, ask forgiveness of your Lord and then repent to Him. Rizq is a term familiar to Muslims. It has a wide and deep theological basis in Islam. It means provision of all the resources necessary for human sustenance. Rizq plays a central role in the creation of jobs, making of economic policy, collection of taxes and fulfilment of socio economic rights of citizens. Allah says in the holy Quran: "And, ask forgiveness of your Lord, indeed he is a perpetual forgiver. He will rain down from the skies in abundance, and increase you in wealth and children, and make for you gardens and rivers." [Surah Nuh, 10] Allah mentioned Rizq and wealth in the Quran many times. Here are some of the verses: " [Quran: 2:286] If the slave is forced to do whatever deeds he performs, then Allah would have required from him what is beyond his capacity, and this is a false belief. For this reason, Allah forgives sins that take place because of ignorance or forgetfulness. 5. Al-Qadr is a matter of Allah's Knowledge. Read Qur'an in the home: the reading of Surah al-Waqi'ah is known to prevent poverty in a house. It is reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Indeed, the house in which the Qur'an is recited- the goodness [in it] increases…" and in another version, "things are made easier for its family." [Ibn Kathir Meaning in English. The meaning of the Dua of rizq in English is: O Allah, I ask You for beneficial knowledge, a good provision, and accepted good deeds. This Dua was narrated from Umm Salamah, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to say it after Fajr prayer. Source: Sunan Ibn Majah 925. Rizq is what has been apportioned for you which benefits you. So Allah (swt) is ar-Razzaq—He is the One who creates your rizq, and takes it upon Himself to deliver what He has apportioned to His servants. And because He is ar-Razzaq, and not ar-Raaziq, He provides this sustenance to everyone: Muslim and non-Muslim, woman and man, humans and The Arabic word rizq means provision or sustenance, that which is given. Rizq is often understood to mean only material possessions such as money, food, employment, housing and such, however it is more than that. Rizq is anything that brings benefit or goodness to us. But this does not mean that he should adhere completely to the view of the imam of that madhhab as one should adhere to the words of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him); rather his study of fiqh should be based on that, but he should also be willing to accept from other madhhabs that which is based on sound evidence, as was 1N7Yupc.
